How to request access to a record

  1. Complete the prescribed PAIA request form.
  2. Send the request to privacy@distance.africa.
  3. Clearly describe the record you want access to.
  4. Explain the right you want to exercise or protect, where required.
  5. Provide proof of identity or authority if reasonably required.
  6. Pay any prescribed fee if applicable.

Important notes

Access to records is not automatic in every case and may be refused where a lawful ground of refusal applies.

A requester should provide enough detail to allow the record to be identified and should follow the PAIA process properly.
